He just said that HE is surprised that NOW there may be serious considerations to be investigated between 45 and the Steele Dossier! He is as idiotic as a Fux News moron! He even acknowledged that he and other left wing pundits believed that it was bogus. "NO, NO, NO,.... let's wait and see what he can do as a president..." FUCK CHRIS! He IS the idiot, not US!
I knew, and DUers knew that this was a legitimate concern. For over 2 months after the election Chris Matthews kissed 45's ass and expected us to go along with him.

(27,813 posts)which is usually pretty sane. The trouble is, he hardly ever lets down his guard and does this. He doesn't play "Hardball" at all. He just lobs softballs at right-wing guests and interrupts his panels.

(27,813 posts)I also hated how that whole MSNBC crew treated Gore, and he (and Tim Russert) led the pack on that one.

(7,581 posts)He has been pretty harsh on Dotard most of the time. He has said some things that have made me think Trump might be putting a hit out on him. When Matthews is on a roll, he is great!! And he has been on a roll at lot this year.

(3,847 posts)walked across the deck in his flight suit. A suit he never wore except in basic flight training for 4 weeks then went AWOL. That POS PR stunt with "Mission Accomplished" as he fucked the entire thing up. He set the Middle East on fire and Chris had a woody throughout the entire thing and disrespected PRESIDENT Obama throughout his entire presidency. I don't think he called him president more than a few times.
He began as a basic democrat until Russert died then began this crazy winding nonsensical path to appease the powers that be. He was getting a little better but is still all over the board, he is unwatchable as he still spits all over his "guests" and cuts everyone off. Honestly, I have no idea how the F he has a show.

He seems to get to the right place, while giving the impression of considering both sides. He's not so bad.

(51,611 posts)I taught sixth and first grades and am trying really hard to deal with my Samsung tablet SPELL CHECK and it causes more errors than I create myself. I know grammar and spelling and punctuation but I often type quickly and I must do my own "Spellchecker" with everything I write since whatever I write is misspelled regardless of Gmail, etc. I asked DU tech for help and disabled the auto spell check on my Samsung Galaxy Tablet and have asked friends about this and they have no answers except to accept it. I know that this is not happening to only me but to many others and none of us know how to get around it. I proofread what I write and use spellcheck and I still have to correct errors that the tablet creates on its own. I taught my students the differences between "you, your, you're and to, too, two, and buy, bye, by, and there, their, they're,".
Please do me a favor and do not correct my spelling and grammar when I DO KNOW HOW TO DO SO CORRECTLY! This is BS computer crap and I have no control over it!!! You must be able to understand by now that this pisses me off and I AM offended whenever these errors are pointed out (as are many others)! I KNOW this happens all the time and I DO NOT catch all of the errors that I NEVER TYPED in the first place but we're(oh my, there'should and another one.. another one...ha, ha see my point...I left this "as is" to prove my point...we're vs we're, there is vs there'swhatever Samsung chooses to write in place of what I actually typed)
I know how to use punctuation, upper and lower case, periods, quotation marks, possession, contractions, past, present, and future tense. etc., within and without quotation marks in a sentence and the various ways that are acceptable English. Please do not correct my spelling and grammar or others on any posts who have a fucking communication system that actually changes what you originally (and often correctly in my case) wrote . Yes, I received a birthday card by a fellow teacher who wrote "YOUR" instead of the correct contraction of " YOU'RE" three times in my card. That was NOT due to computer/tablet spellchecker BS! I did NOT correct her yet noticed it. Please take this into consideration when you criticize someone who writes quickly and can'take (ooohhh, did YOU catch that error???) triple check everything someone writes on a computer, especially when they are writing something quickly and needs to get info out to others who may be more interested in the content in a timely manner and not how the fucking tablet rewrites what you actually typed correctly in the first place.

(29,565 posts)eye if the movies can be believed. I get thanked more often than flamed for noting mistakes.
I find saying "they're, there, their" soothing in such circumstances. I will try not to correct you in the future.
BigmanPigman
(51,611 posts)referring to having a vowel before another vowel without a consonant in between the vowels. That would be grammatically incorrect. You can even hear it when you speak, it doesn'the "flow" from the tongue smoothly.
See.. there is another error that Spellcheck inserted to replace my correct spelling of "doesn't" with "doesn'the". Be careful when correcting others...computers are NOT perfect.

(11,296 posts)Last week he completely missed a point, by a mile. They were discussing Trump's attack on Stephen Curry and an athlete on the panel made a comment that Curry was not a person that should be criticized because he was an outstanding role model.
And Matthews cuts in and says, yes he's a great 3 point shooter and that's how the game is played now.
WTF? At least that's how I saw it.
