It's all a win-win to the Evilangelicals.
Even though the Talmud, the Bible, or the Koran have nothing prohibiting birth control or abortions in them.

The reason they do this is get to control over and punish women - over half the country - for the Sin of Eve.

To the Evilangelical (male or female), Eve is the original sin, she had forfeit her "right" to stand next to Adam in front of God because she thought too much after talking to the serpent.

Women are only still on earth to take care of Men; to feed them, f*** them, and not heard unless they're rich enough to buy the right to talk in public.
If someone's daughter dies having kids, it's just they have to die, but it's either because it was their time or their fault.

This is the way they think. And even in California, there's way too many who think that way.

They are pandering to those of us who want to shame women for having wombs, and to keep them from getting fancy ideas about equality.

It gets them votes, and money from those lobbying organizations who prey on the same hate.

12. It's about reducing sexual activity, and eliminating any enjoyment of sexual activity, for women.

For men, of course, there would be just as much sex as always...it's just that for Republican men, it would take the pressure off, since women could never relax and be lost in the act and thus men would be under no further obligation to even try to provide women with orgasms(something conservative men never approved of women having in the first place, because in an orgasmic moment, a woman is free of any level of male control at all).

Once they've made all these changes, sex will go back to lasting one minute or less, so the Republican man can go back to planning mass layoffs scheduled for Christmas Eve, and the wife can get right back up and order the undocumented help to prepare supper, as the white man's God decrees.

decision may result in an unwanted pregnancy, a jail term or even death for them. It could turn out to be a modern twist on Lysistrata. I'm sure men will be singing a different tune if that happens.

Also, they would have to change the laws to force biological fathers to be responsible for the children that they father until the child turns 18 years old. I am sure a lot of men would not be so happy about that either.

This is also going to strain the social welfare system since children will be born to families or single women that can't for afford to care for them and that will increase the need for benefits and state sponsored homes for unwanted children. You can't force someone to keep a child when they have no means of providing for it. In one way or another, the state is going to end up paying for it.

And no...they would never go after deadbeat dads...the way these old bastards see it, it's up to the women to refuse men sex until marriage-going after deadbeat dads would mean admitting men are responsible for children being born.

You are right that this will lead to an increase in general misery...but that's what the Right wants...they hate happiness-they see it as a sin. In their view, we all owe it to the white male Christian Godhead to live our lives in desperation, fear, and shame.
