TV - if you haven't been watching Austin Rogers on Jeopardy! this guy is a hoot

Bartender from NYC
8 days $300,000 won
Very smart and he's got a great advantage at this point
Wild gestures - but not as wild as the first few days
He's playing with house money so he makes big wagers when he hits on a double jeopardy question.

$20,000 is considered average, and winnings approaching $30.000 are notable, but he's averaging $38,750 (down from his $42,000 the other day).

He makes crazy bets which gets his numbers up but also makes the opponents take chances which they shouldn't.

In many ways, Austin's quirkiness reminds me of Hunter Pence:

You sit down at a table with $500. Once you have more than $500, let's say $700, you have $200 of housemoney. Losing it doesn't really lose YOU anything because you are still up or at least you haven't actually lost money.

Jeopardy is a bit different because you aren't puting in anything. I used that term because he has $300k (less taxes) in his pocket so he can take chances which often cause the opponents to make mistakes. He makes big wagers when he hits on Jeopardy questions because....WHY NOT?
