"Correlation is not Causation", repeat ad infinitum.

You cannot PROVE Climate Change caused the firestorms, so nothing is to be done. Besides, it would reduce Corporate Profits, share value would decline, CEOs and Boards would be fired.

Deniers gonna deny, liars gonna lie.

Record wet winter; CA was unbelievably green in spring. Plants that had been through an unprecedented drought grew like crazy.

Then, this summer was dry as a bone. Record-setting in the PNW. Perfect recipe for an epic fire season, and that's what we've had.

The winds, however, were why this was so fierce. I have no idea how normal these are for the North Bay this time of year (apparently, they're called "Diablo Winds&quot .

But none of this will make a Denier see the light. To the contrary; they'll find much to de-link it from ACC.

Read U of Washington prof Cliff Maas (who I know) if you want to see a real, actual climate scientist jump through hoops to decry Climate Change "hysteria". http://cliffmass.blogspot.com/

I know you're frustrated. I am too. The GOP has made their bed. There's only 1 way to tackle ACC: Democratic Supermajorities.

we are going to be seeing more and more disasters like this in years to come. Not until the very rich start losing everything will they ever consider accepting climate change as real.

ever heard Tillerson when he was Exon-CEO he admitted about or accepted climate change, but he said people would adapt to climate change. So are we supposed to accept this inept abuse of the poisoning of our atmosphere from these climate deniers who in this case are big oil guys who make beaucoup money and people die to satisfy these greedy bastards.
