California burns, where's the President?

As raging wildfires devour the lives, homes and dreams of Californians in an unprecedented scale, one voice has been conspicuously mute through day after day of crisis: President Trump.

This is not a man who is reticent to let Americans know what is foremost on his mind. He is also someone who should have learned by now — after devastating hurricanes and the Las Vegas massacre — that Americans expect their president to step forward with empathy and resolve in moments of national trauma.

Yet Trump has offered no more than a few perfunctory words about the Wine Country fires that have left at least 40 dead, consumed thousands of structures and stretched the physical and mental mettle of the dedicated firefighters and medical professionals to the edge of exhaustion.

Comrade Casino, republican Draft-Dodger-in-Chief, has also failed to say anything about the US servicemen who lost their lives in Niger.

I think the republican is ashamed to point to people who actually served America, since it exposes his shameful record of lying and draft dodging.

Meanwhile, he and his republican pals are happy to squander another $3 million of our hard-earned tax dollars on their private luxuries at golden, gourmet golf resorts. Sick republican bastards.

He doesn't care. California went for Hillary and he probably thinks they deserve this. He is such a psychopath.

Ignoring California is his way of not forgiving the state for not voting for him last November.

The first President to declare war on California was GWB. I recall the black outs and brown outs that were crippling the California economy, which at that time I think was the 8th largest economy in the world. It was clear W and Carl Rove wanted California to fail so that a Republican governor could be installed. The Bushies were yucking it up with the Enron guys while California was dying on the vine. Precursor to Katrina, when they let New Orleans and Louisiana suffer until outrage forced action.

I feel horrible for people in California.
