Do you think they have no regrets?
Do you think they are not concerned about the consequence of their vote for Donald Trump?
Do you truly think they are that uncaring?
What would Jesus think ??

My one cousin can't figure out why anyone would feel upset about Trump because he was god's choice.
They believe what he says without any critical thinking.

The future of our country was at stake.
Our parents were die hard democrats.
We were not raised that way.

(9,073 posts)Do you think they have no regrets?
IMO..No. They care about their own personal and collective grievances (collectively as in finding others with the same grievances - good and/or bad). They don't realize that they are the cause of their own grievances by voting in the same white destructive conservative male politicians every election who are a major cause of their pain.
These supporters don't factor "the why" in before voting back in the incumbents or choosing extremists that do more harm than good because they have been busy filling their anger-and-pain-tanks in the off (election) season with Alex Jones, Fox News, Breibart, etc. And those incumbents & extremists throw out the red meat when their coffers/poll numbers get low and/or are up for re-election, though more are doing it on a regular basis. This is where the anger and hate addiction settles in.
They can't have regrets because then they would have to admit that they have been wrong, insincere or brainwashed to themselves and those around them.
It's easier to choose what you know than it is taking a few hours out of one week once or twice a year (or pay attention periodically to facts....sigh) to investigate what said politician has or has not accomplished and look at others that are running and what they stand for. What fun is that if the payoff isn't fueling your anger and pain?
Do you think they are not concerned about the consequence of their vote for Donald Trump?
If they cared about consequence the wouldn't keep electing the same type of politicians that have gotten us to this point.
Their reps may be doing some good locally (maybe not) but their policies are destructive nationally which eventually finds it's way back to the states and Joe or Jill Voter will still have the same issues, maybe new ones or worse.
Anger and fear can be addictive. There has to be a pay off which they certainly get when seeking out conservative media for confirmation bias. It's one Big circle jerk.
Do you truly think they are that uncaring?
Yes and No and this is in regard to what I'm saying specifically about these supporters that won't budge. They care about their specific issues. So tribally yes. Outside of that, no.
What would Jesus think ??
Never met him.
