In context, this kinda makes sense to me also if she is in fact one of the lawyers. Surely other emails such as these were also forwarded.

Having said all of that, Fox paid her 32 million. They would fight tooth and nail if her case was weak. Clearly it was more than just to “make it go away”

I once had to prove that “deep throat” had become a generic reference to a class of pornography, and not merely a reference to a particular film.

However, we had to develop a protocol for dealing with that sort of file, since the firm employed students part time from a Catholic girls high school as filing assistants.

Although one of the weirder things I ever saw was a picture of a check that a client sent me. It was the final payment of a settlement I had mediated, and the check had a brown stain of some kind on it, and the memo line said “It’s poo!”

My client had put it in a ziploc bag, taken a picture of it, and emailed it to me. Then, he calls me up and starts screaming about it, and asking “What should I do about this!?”
