Trump sees Republican political win in his over his call to soldier's widow.

President Trump is continuing his attacks against a congresswoman who criticized his remarks to the widow of a fallen soldier, with the president suggesting his feud with the lawmaker he calls "wacky" is a political win for Republicans.

Referring to Democratic Rep. Frederica Wilson of Florida, Trump tweeted that "wacky Congresswoman Wilson" is a "disaster" for her party and a "gift that keeps on giving" for Republicans.

His tweet comes a day after the funeral for Sgt. La David Johnson, one of four U.S. soldiers killed in an ambush in Niger earlier this month. It was Trump's phone call to Johnson's widow, which Rep. Wilson heard, that spurred the war of words between the two elected officials.

Wilson, who knew Johnson, was with his widow, Myeshia Johnson, when the president called to express his condolences last week.

since he got to really abuse a number of black people in one scandal. That is racist efficiency.

4. It very much is a win for him. Restructuring the military is a primary goal of his.

The man displays all 14 of the 14 characteristics of a fascist dictator.

Having our military, and our intelligence services dedicated to him and his policies has been a primary goal from day 1.

His complete restructuring of our intel services has had some press, but his restructuring of the military has had crickets.

It's completely normal for a new POTUS to change the Secretary of Defense cabinet position. It's not normal for a new president to completely change out the Secretary of the Navy, Secretary of the Army, and Secretary of the Air Force in their first months. That should have sent up warning bells.

Anyone who thinks for one second that all senior position promotions, especially those of Admirals and Generals, aren't taking into full consideration those persons dispositions towards this POTUS is delusional.

The attacks on transexuals and gays in the military to this attack on a minority widow are all orchestrated to reduce enlistment of persons who may be more inclined to be opposed to the Rumpus.

It's pure speculation on my part that he's positioning himself for a military coup. However, his actions are certainly geared at making one a possibility.

would work out for him. He has made too many enemies in the military.

But I also do believe that he's working towards making it possible. He's got all of the top cards changed to his deck, and those who he's made enemies of will be pushed towards retirement's to make room for those who are more.. cooperative.

Consider his attacks on gays, and in particular transgenders in the military. It's not passing at this time.. BUT.. just because he's put it out there, how many of our young GLBT who might have signed up for service will now at the least second guess it? How many of our young minorities who watch how Myeshia Johnson was treated, and decide the military isn't the place for them? Conversely, how many conservative youth are watching this and thinking.. now's the time to join.

Same questions, but considering those who are already in, but coming up on reenlistment time in the next few years.

Change the people.. change the culture.. and it can happen.

in NY for 30 years of Doonsbury columns, after all. For years I wondered what a profile of those who would buy in a building with his name all over it might show. Aside from the notorious gathering of shady characters and outright criminals from around the planet of course.

I seem to remember him mentioning it during one of his appearances, Bill Maher I think. Though he's obviously moved by now.

And everyone has high hopes for the Mueller investigation, I'm still hoping for Eric Schneiderman. He's been after Trump for years and it sure appears to me that Trump has become even more careless. He feels he can do or say anything and get away with it - like his "shooting someone" boast - since he is getting away with things that would have led to swift impeachment for any other POTUS - of either party - each and every day! And if Schneiderman is working with Mueller, that should speed things up. *fingers crossed*

Meanwhile, how bad can things get?? It seems like things are getting exponentially worse every single day...

Losses are wins, insults are gifts, etc.

Hypocrisy and lying are Christian GOP moral values apparently, from covenants cleverly hidden deep in scripture.

Everyone (including DU) is distracted by yet another reality-tv-like scandal while other major issues fall by the wayside. The orange baboon THRIVES on controversy.
