CNN has improved exponentially with every day that Trump is President. I've seen some of the most energetic debates and refutations coming from them. People like Chris Cuomo run circles around liars and prevaricators.

MSNBC's afternoon and evening lineup are also fact seekers of a very high order.

... I suspect it's more because that's where the ratings are now since Trump has lost popularity and has created disaster after disaster during his time in office.

They will follow the ratings, and they have very little deviation from that model. They wanted the 2016 election to be a horse race because that was good for ratings. They covered Trump from sunrise to the late hours because he attracted viewers. Their false equivalency helped legitimize his campaign.

We should not forget that. They will do it again.
