I read two books about Obama this weekend.

Ok, one wasn't exactly about him, but rather a young woman who worked for him for 10 years since he was a senator. She worked for Kerry prior to Obama.

"Who Thought This Was a Good Idea?" by Alyssa Mastromonaco

It was good. It was her account of those years with Obama. You get a really nice sense of his staff & the camaraderie they shared. I wish I'd read a book like this when I was 18 - I would have pursued a career in politics. Not a candidate position, but a staff position. If you know any young women interested in politics or considering a career in government, get them this book!

The other book I read was "Obama: The Historic Presidency of Barack Obama - 2,920 Days" by Mark Greenberg. It's basically a photo journal of Obama's time in office. It covers key events, like the inauguration, some of the legislation he worked on, WH events, etc. It's a wonderful book!. We were so lucky to have this incredible man as president.
