It dawned on me, this morning, that trump* is what full blown, toxic 'Afluenze' looks like

Anyone, from any socio-economic background can be a narcissist. Afluenza describes a specific class of narcissism. BECAUSE he is wealthy, he feels that the rules of society don't apply to him and now his means and power make him believe he is omniscient even though most of the world sees him as a dangerous fool.

When that term first came up, during the Ethan Couch trial, a lot of people laughed. But I think that psychologist, who coined the term, came up with the perfect description. Although I'd add the descriptive "Incurable", especially in trump*'s case.

Disclaimer - If it sounds insane or has a 'WTF' factor above a 5, it is just what is pouring out of my very tired and somewhat nutritionally starved brain.

Something that I have difficulty understanding is why people who are the opposite of affluent are so blindly attracted to personalities like his.

After all, their best weapon over the years has been projecting. They complain endlessly about "liberal entitlement." That tells me that they have a deep sense of entitlement, which of course leads to their ever-whiney victimization complex.

Trump is the tip of the iceberg. That sense of entitlement permeates everything RWers have been doing since Reagan.

a lot of super wealthy have that condition. I supposed some day this country will elect President Ethan Couch and his mom can be secretary of state.
