Kushner's brother writes op-ed defending ObamaCare

White House senior adviser Jared Kushners brother penned an op-ed Friday defending ObamaCare and the individual market.
Joshua Kushner, co-founder of Oscar Health Insurance, teamed up with Oscar CEO Mario Schlosser to write an op-ed published on Axios titled, The individual market will thrive in the long run.
The piece argues that President Trumps executive actions to roll back pieces of the Affordable Care Act, like ending the subsidies to insurance companies for low-income consumers, will raise prices for low-income customers and cause mass confusion for people trying to enroll in health insurance.
The administration's cuts to outreach and sporadic lip service to repealing the ACA do nothing to stanch growing confusion among shoppers, Kushner and Schlosser write. It will be hard after four years where tens of millions of Americans have gained access to health insurance for the administration to erase the virtues of an individual market where consumers choose their health plan and no one is discriminated against based on health status.
