(49,007 posts)Remember Fitzmas, but also remember that, unlike Fitzmas, the Trump-Russia conspiracy is much bigger and farther reaching. Unravelling it takes time because of things like businessmen and secret agent skilled at hiding things with numbered companies.
But it is being unravelled.

I think it was the "plumbers" (Hunt, Liddy, Colson and Krogh (?)) who were first indicted in Watergate. You don't start at the center, but the outside and work your way in.

(5,477 posts)when coming indictments are hinted, and there are so many completely eligible candidates that nobody can agree who it will be, and everyone in the regime is pissing their pants expecting the hammer to fall on them.
I hope that the various state justice departments are also going to be filing charges, also, to insure that no federal pardons could be issued.

(6,918 posts)Indictments are a victory for justice and democracy, and a defeat for foreign espionage and their domestic partners.
I, personally, am not a beneficiary any more than the morons who will be indicted. All Americans win when illegal foreign interference in the 2016 election is prosecuted.
So, not a time to celebrate anything but Robert Mueller is doing his job. Which is a total departure from the Moron Don and his gang, and makes me jump for joy on the inside.
