When you are trying to take down a crime family, you don't indict the Don first.

You don't even indict the Capos.

No, you go after the Soldiers, try to get them to flip. And you assemble more and more evidence and make your case against those higher up the chain stronger and stronger so that when the time comes, your case is air tight. There can be no room for error.

Mueller and his Dream Team know this; they are experts at it.

Patience. Manaford was a Soldier. This is just getting started.

But I see Manafort as a capo, the direct link between Putin and Trump. He did Russia's bidding. He manipulated Trump into choosing Pence. He was responsible for the lifting of sanctions from the platform (although no longer on campaign when it went through).

Can't forget that he sabotaged American policy in Ukraine. Deep state is not going to forget.
