Lots of schaedenfreude here.

I share in that but what I haven't seen is any discussion about how beleagured Presidents start wars. Cheetolinni could start lobbing nuclear bombs.

I was fearful of this a few months ago. I'm fucking terrified just about now.

Anyone else?

Why wouldn't he? Yeah, that would bring all of Asia into it, but he doesn't think more than one step ahead.

Are you thinking people will stop him? I would like to hope but nobody has stopped anything he's done so far.

2. Wars don't start with nukes, they end with them

Could start conventional bombing North Korea anytime, but I think he won't. He works off old scripts, and he doesn't have one for this.

If we aren't going to use them. He could just start and end it by obliterating all of Korea.

It's unprecedented, but hasn't everything thing been unprecedented lately?

No, he really couldn't. I don't see anything outlined here that meets the definition of schadenfreude.

And I'm not being sarcastic. I have to go to sleep soon and I would love to enjoy sweet dreams.

The dreams of schadenfreude are preferable to the nuclear nightmares I so often have nowadays.

The President doesn't simply "lob nukes".

7. As long as Trump is president, there's the risk he'll start a war, even a nuclear war.

Especially with the indications he's suffering from dementia as well as basic personality disorders.

Right now the Mueller investigation offers our best chance of removing him from office (or of his resigning) before he has years more to put us, and the entire world, at risk.

The news from Mueller today is GREAT news.

might have done in the few hours since I last heard any news, and then I have to force myself NOT to check. Sometimes I check anyway, though I know it's a really bad habit.
