the legal and investigative powers of government on a citizen (HC) without proof, for political purpose. She has threatened media with investigations. She also spreads misinformation for political purpose. She and others at this podium have acted more like campaign spokespersons than employees of the federal government doing the people's work.

Journalists are clearly flabbergasted but still walk on eggshells in print. And, again, GOP officials are complicit in their silence.
