On the indictments (before any champagne is poured)
as someone who can draw tangible line between the hopes of 2016 and the outright graveyard sickness of 2017, I can understand why many would want to pop champagne. Right now, I feel like it is Christmas eve, and I can already look forward to ripping and wrapping paper on gifts that I know all of us good Democrats deserve. However, keep in mind the only thing that has been any damage to Trump has been constant, consistent vigilance. We will need to get tenacious and ruthless. the only thing that the trumpet people are frustrated at is the fact that, despite all of his attempts to spend people around,, the inconvenient facts just do not stay underwater. What we do not want is for us to all the sudden start reaching for tears and boredom like a bottle of Jack Daniels when the enemy managed to produce another rabbit from that worn-out hat.
We know the Trump is indeed shameless and ruthless enough to go ahead and scatter pardons like a farmer sows seed. we know the Republicans are going to let him do this, because they think that sooner or later, they can take over machinery once taxes have been cut for the rich and any social services or education are made for the sole purpose of stopping people into white conservative churches. even a full-blown nuclear war with North Korea, which will spin into a nuclear war of China will not frighten a small fraction of the mouth breathers, the churches will tell them is exactly what Jesus wants, a way to kill all them arrogant city liberals! However, as vocal and persistent as that minority is, we do have the numbers to take this country back from them. hopefully the siren songs of Jill Stein will not be able to convince people that this is an election just like any other, sorry to say that Wolf is here now,, and he is feasting on children. We need to be consistent, clear, and yes ruthless. We need to push this as far as it goes, and make sure that all the broken glass is nice and sharp so that anyone who votes Republican will wind up stepping on that class, November 2018 and November 2020. I'm not calling for terrorism, but she intends to work, and so does selfishness. We need to make the GOP not merely ashamed of putting Trump in, make it clear that Trump is going for their wallets, yes their wallets.
No we don't need to appeal to compassion that they do not have! And yes please let's stop trying all this "ode to white working-class" nonsense that we are expected to go ahead and eat with a side of grits is to show that we can sympathize. No, because frankly, even those that were not bigots, even those who acted much more out of fear of an anger were willing to go ahead and let Trump ride in, and yes I will violate Godwin's law and say that yes in the last century we had and another clear example of how someone used populism, and a genuine economic pain that many Germans did feel the gain power.
We cannot and will not give up. We have to go ahead fighting like hell around one and keep throwing punches in round 12, even if, especially if it looks like we're going to win, because we will not win until our enemy is lying on the ground and he is not getting up! Yes, the copper phrase off of our own Nance Greg's, they are the enemy right now,, more so than any foreign power including Isis and including Russia because these heart worms have narrowed deep into our national tissue, and are laying carcinogenic eggs that they know the Supreme Court is willing to nurture for the next 20 years! However, we will not show despair when their inevitable noise machine,, and all yes the fifth column that is in our party, both the extreme left,, and those who panic whenever a millimeter to the left the spirit disturbs the illusion of the center, will try their best to encourage despair, because that despair gets them better wages, in cash and in ego than a Hillary Clinton presidency ever would have!
We need to make it very clear to the GOP that we are talking and not listening, and affirm those within who are more concerned about fighting their little wars of ego than winning in 2018, then 2020, and then as many consistent victories as we can win, then we need to go ahead and tell them where to step off! We have become way too comfortable coming in second; there will be no consolation prizes in 2018 or 2020!
