Note to those who have been, or will be indicted
If you’re waiting for any help from your “pResident”, up to and including a presidential pardon, it’s time to abandon all hope, ye who enter into that foolish mindset.
You know – probably better than most – how vindictive Trump is, and how he never allows even a perceived slight to go unnoticed or unpunished. If he thinks for a minute that anything you’ve said or done has tightened the noose around his neck, he will let you rot in prison before he does anything on your behalf.
Keep in mind that your “pResident” has no regard for facts. If he believes that you have shown any disloyalty to him, or have cooperated in any way with investigators, he won’t be dissuaded by any evidence you may proffer up in hopes of changing his mind.
You know – again, better than most – that Trump doesn’t even have a passing familiarity with the truth, that he lies without hesitation. If you think he won’t lie about you and your activities in order to deflect attention away from his own guilt, you’re trippin’.
Trump is all about Trump. No one else matters – NO ONE. He would throw anyone under the bus if he thought it would save his own skin. He would see Jared, Ivanka, and Don Jr. in orange jumpsuits before he’d admit to any wrongdoing on his own part.
If your beloved “pResident” has promised you a pardon in exchange for keeping your mouth shut, you might want to review his track record when it comes to keeping his word about anything.
