Kelly: We shouldn't pass judgment on Chinese govt, which "apparently works for their people"

Another gem of idiocy from Kelly in his appearance on Laura Ingraham's new show on Fox last night. This seems to have been mostly overlooked because of all the other stupid and offensive things he said.

Video clip here:

Kelly does say their system wouldn't work here, but it's clear he thinks authoritarianism is good enough for the Chinese.

He went so far there that even Ingraham objected.

That what most Chinese desire and expect from government is different from our own. Few have any interest in Western style democracy. It is of course debatable as to whether or not this perspective is the result of decades of CCP propaganda, but it’s a reality that must be dealt with. I have lived in the PRC, and visit usually several times a year. Among the Chinese I have contact with, Xi seems quite popular, more so than his predecessor Hu. Not so much with local party officials though, his anti-corruption campaigns have interfered with the “red bag” trade.
