You Cant Go Any Lower: Inside the West Wing, Trump Is Apoplectic as Allies Fear Impeachment
After Mondays indictments, the president blamed Jared Kushner in a call to Steve Bannon, while others are urging him to take off the gloves with Robert Mueller.

(6,709 posts)I was going to say somebody else wrote that for cheeto, given the lack of typos and misspellings, but then there's "apoplectic of" so...never mind!

(32,777 posts)You guys know that at least some of his tweets are written by PR writing staff, right?
Easy to tell, they're the ones that form complete sentences and use college-words like "apoplectic".
The rest of 'em you can figure are his alone.

(43,199 posts)It was also used by Vanity Fair to refer to Trump himself, so he may have taken it reflexively and thrown it back hastily. (E.g. "No puppet! You're the puppet!"
If he did write the tweet, I'm sure he had a copy of the Vanity Fair article on his lap to make sure he spelled it correctly.
That GIF of yours, though....yikes!

(23,971 posts)he likely picked up the word from an article about him published earlier this week.
the spelling is correct, but the usage is not, so i'm inclined to think he did write it with some built-in help from his phone.
