hard to believe it's all being ripped away by a clod and his dues paying cohorts.

I was with my best friend in Laguna Beach.

We smoked a peace pipe in the president-elect's honor, and you could hear the honking, hooting, and hollering below. Was a great day.

Which is not to say he wasn't a good president. But for a few flaws, he was one of the best, definitely in the Top 10 (and high on that list as well).

Miss him? Jesus to god, YES.

Will never forget that night...I was home on leave and my wife and I were watching the returns intently. I had worked for the campaign during the primaries and on into the general election. We woke our oldest daughter up, who was seven at the time, to see this speech and to experience this history unfold in real time. My wife and I had tears streaming down our faces during this address...we were in our bed, huddled up and the historical impact of that moment was not lost on us.

There continues to be those who fight to tear down any legacy or accomplishment of Pres Obama, they can not take these moments from us! The GOP may have gleefully plotted the downfall of Obama a few months after this, they may have forcefully blocked him at every turn during both terms of his presidency, but they showed us their true colors. Despite all of that, we’re still standing and we are vocal and vociferously opposing the “Trump administration” at every turn. I would hope that we look back on that November night and remember the sheer joy we had, and yet recognize the steadfast zeal of our new president who recognized that the struggles ahead were monumental. To those of us who were there...”Yes we can”....our voice will not be squelched by Trump. President elect Obama showed us the path forward....and we can do that, even in the face of Republican obstruction, if only we have faith in ourselves and join with our fellow citizens to restore our country!

One of the five best presidents of all time. And the very best of my lifetime (and I'm old).

Wow, do I ever miss him!!!

I thought 2001-2009 was the price we had to pay for such joy and hope. But the bill came due again. And it was higher than before...

In my mind you had to have something against black people not to admire them a bit. But that is my mind.

I didn’t like everything he did, but he’ll, you cannot get better than that.

It is the best president you have ever had.

I know he is not listed as the best, but only one of the best.

Regarding the appaling situation he inherited and the Republicans constantly undermining his efforts, the achievements of his presidency are amazing.

What a pity to see all such great result wrecked by the current clown.
