They say follow the money, right?
Am I missing something because I have not heard the msm really explaining the money trail on the ads, we know there was at least $100k on Facebook alone. Nyt says the ads are " linked by a trail of ruble payments to a Russian company with Kremlin ties."
What?? Payments TO a Russian company?
If the Russians were paying for ads, wouldn't it say payments FROM a Russian company? If it is TO a Russian company, where is it coming from? And how does it get from the Russian company to Facebook?

(8,000 posts)to Russia. That doesn't mean they're paying Russia. With these investigations, you would start at the end point and work your way back to the beginning... a Russian company. Linked by a trail (of ruble payments) to a Russian company... so it's the trail, not the payments that are linked.
