"SNIP......
Former Vice President Joe Biden will run for president in 2020, according to Chris Matthews, who left no room for error.

"I've talked to his family. He's running. OK? Fact," said Matthews, the host of MSNBC's "Hardball."

Matthews made the declaration during a Friday interview in Philadelphia with NBC10 while promoting his new book, "Bobby Kennedy: A Raging Spirit."

" "

And Biden should run because he would help the Democrats win back some of the blue-collar voters they lost in the last election, Matthews said.

We could use a dose of Biden right about now. I hope he speaks out more often.

The State Department's going to be in tatters after Trump's gone and will need someone like Biden to hit the ground running there.

It will probably be Ryan, Cruz or Rubio. I think we need young blood, especially if it is Rubio. I like Kamala Harris.

best candidate, though of course I would support him if he won the nomination.

I think it is early, and I think there is a lot of good potential candidates that can come from the Democratic party. In the meantime, the focus should be on 2018

Knows how Washington works, can repair damage done by the Orange Squirrel and crew.

Edited to add: He picks a young, rising star as his running mate.

I love Uncle Joe, but a stong case can be made that the Dem Party has been most successful after nominating YOUNG, vibrant presidential candidates like Obama, B Clinton, JFK... hell, even Mr. Jimmy and LBJ were in their early 50s when elected.

As much as I like Joe and Eliz. Warren, etc., Perhaps we should look to our party's young stars, like C Booker, M O'Malley, K Harris, and C Murphy.

Nothing conservatives say now means a damn thing, no morals, economic principles NOTHING ... they've lost all benefit of the doubt.

We could run Donald Duck as long as he's a democrat and progressive and they can't say shit

I have two concerns about Joe though. I am concerned about his age and the prospect of Joe Biden as a presidential candidate has always looked better than the reality of Joe Biden as a candidate.

That being said I wouldn't oppose him.

Nothing he says is likely to be reliable.

Besides, if Joe Biden did run, Donna Brazile would just want all the credit for it.
