If you are worried about Mueller getting fired, this should make you feel better.

Remember that Trump cannot pardon for state crimes.

Many alleged Trump and Associates and Family crimes took place in New York state.

The NY Attorney General Eric Schneiderman has been investigating these crimes for a long, long time and may be close to getting his own indictments.

Feel Good Thought for the day: What if Trump fires Mueller but then Mueller is hired by Eric Schneiderman to complete the investigations?

One way or another Schneiderman will complete the prosecutions for multiple crimes and multiple criminals.

This means there is no way out for Trump and Associates and Family. No way to escape prosecution and punishment for their crimes.

They are going down, people, they are going down!

Trump himself, as President, may be immune to state charges.

Even if he is immune to prosecution now, it would be interesting to see the legal arguments for prosecuting an ex-President for things he did during the campaign.

only immune to indictments while in office (criminal only; civil charges can be filed--see Bill Clinton). As for prosecution after leaving office, I suppose that is dependent upon the statute of limitations which maybe/probably can be extended because of previous immunity...dunno how that would work exactly but I bet there is a provision. In any case, I'm sure there will be plenty to hang on him whenever he leaves office.

tRump isn't walking away from this...we need no better indication of his ignorance and stupidity and arrogance than that he ran for office in the first place and put himself under scrutiny. SMDH ROFLMAO

Vecause it has never been done. The courts will have to decide. I think Mueller will indict Trump and leave it up to the courts, rather than he, personally, making that precedent. When there is doubt, prosecutors would much rather indict than not, especially when they have a lot of evidence.

I do not care if he is in his 80s when it happens but he needs to go to trial if they find evidence and he needs to go to jail and if that means he dies in there then so be it.
