Democrats should add amend any legislation

That passes with their support to includec language that completely protects the special counsel from being fired by a president who and whose associates are being investigated. This has to be part of any deal with Repunlicans on any legislation.

They can put amendments up for a vote, but they will lose every vote.

Then again we all know that we can't do that. As a party we are completely undisciplined. Some democrats will vote for this tax bill because they are scared not to.
