Again and again, we hear story after story, ad nauseam, about the Trump campaign, the Russians, the GOP, WikiLeaks, and an endless parade of political operatives, digging for dirt in Hillary Clinton's emails. Where's the dirt? Are they all really that terrible at locating it? One definition of insanity is repeating the same action over and over, yet expecting a different result.

(6,854 posts)Hillary supporters, like myself, view the inability of Hillary haters to find dirt as a clean bill of health for Hillary. Hillary haters, including those on the left, view the lack of dirt as evidence of Hillary's diabolical powers to destroy evidence and/or buy people off.

(6,854 posts)To say that I am technologically challenged would be an understatement. I had to get millenials to sign me up for Uber. I tried to download a movie on iTunes and could not get it. I don't have Netflix because I don't know how to connect TV to internet. It goes and on. (thanksgiving will bring young family to my house and I will get long needed assistance).
My question for all of you tech people is why hillary's server was so much safer than the other govt servers? Why was she not hacked?

(52,227 posts)indeed, though, the media was horribly biased about it.
they went through tons of emails and the only question the media ever asked was what dirt could we find, was there anything illegal or politically embarrassing.
why did it never even occur to them to say, wow, what a unique opportunity to get a look into the day-to-day operations of a state department, or of a major candidate, etc.?
why weren't there endless discussions about her management style, her travel schedule, how many balls she was juggling at the same time, etc.
never mind why wasn't there any discussion at all over hmm, is it ethical to look at stolen emails?
