seem inaccurate and somewhat nuts, like being assassinated by the Russians. Ellison is an honest guy; I can't assume that everything in Brazile's book was totally made up. I'll be interested in hearing more from Ellison.

do seem to focus on her sense of having been disrespected by others in the DNC. And maybe she was, but I don't know why that merits a whole book about it.

But the headliners have been proven false and that nonsense about her health and HRC needing to be replaced just doesn't pass the sniff test. And is it true she'll share her thoughts about the DNC with T. Carlson?

but this is what really got to me:

Brazile writes that she was haunted by the still-unsolved murder of DNC data staffer Seth Rich and feared for her own life, shutting the blinds to her office window so snipers could not see her and installing surveillance cameras at her home. She wonders whether Russians had placed a listening device in plants in the DNC executive suite.

Seth Rich, a DNC staffer who was tragically killed on a DC street in what DC police called a botched robbery, was the object of right wing conspiracy theories. The poor young man was a victim of something that unfortunately happens every day on DC streets and the RW media took a horrible event and twisted it to their own ends. Although Donna doesn't repeat the conspiracy theories outright, by "fearing for her own life" because of a robbery gone wrong seems to indicate that she at least thinks they're possible.

This is in addition to her abetting RW talking points about Hillary's so-called failing health when she had a temporary condition of walking pneumonia.

I thought DB had been a Clinton supporter during the primaries, so I wonder why she wanted to replace her (not that she actually could have, which is another strange claim)?

And I didn't take it as a jab. I took it as a plan to make sure everything is above board so there can be no more insane people like DB releasing "secrets".

I'm committed to working with Chairman Perez to make the DNC more transparent and accountable to the American people, whether that's by ensuring that debates are scheduled far ahead of time or by guaranteeing that the terms of joint fundraising agreements give no candidate undue control or influence over the party.

So even though I got flamed for denouncing DWS as having poor financial management skills, I was giving Perez and Ellison the benefit of the doubt.

That seems to be the opinion of many people. Seems to me that DB's statements need to be viewed in light of whatever personal axe she seems to be grinding, and also compared to other people's reports about what was going on. I saw that members of the Clinton campaign issued a statement to the effect that what she's published so far was bullcrap. It will be interesting to see what the rest of the book says.

Is that HRC and Mook could blow DB out of the water, but doing so could devastate the DNC and the party as a whole. They have to maneuver carefully so as to isolate DB. Meanwhile, DB gets to complain and cast aspersions. Of course, she will eventually be denounced as a kook, but I worry about the harm she may cause in the interim. It seems we just can't catch a break even in the midst of this hell storm of an administration when it should be easy for Dems to appear flawless.

What should he have done? Blow her off and call her crazy? That would just make things worse. The comment was an acknowledgement that problems exist, and that efforts will be made to rectify them. He didn't say she was right. He just said her accusations shouldn't be ignored.

It intimates she was correct that the primary was rigged which even she is now saying is incorrect. His comments are being added to those of Jeff Weaver and Nina Turner who dissed the DNC and HRC, with Weaver says HRC needs to apologize.

Only by people who take people like Weaver and Turner seriously--which is not most people. And, not this does not intimate that she was correct. It just acknowledges that she has made serious accusations that need to be looked into. Blowing her off just makes the current leadership look like they're trying to sweep something under the rug.

Big graphic w/ all three statements on MTP for instance and I'm betting BS supporters will take it seriously. Frankly...will he insist on investigating if she was on a hit list, the claim that HRC should've been replaced because of illness and she had the power to do it.....will he reveal how there was nothing wrong w/agreement because it was for the general not the primary, how DB felt she was treated like a slave and will he agree that HRC should've stroked her ego after the election when HRC was devastated?
