7. The night of the 2008 New Hampshire Primary she was particularly insane.

Andrea was pontificating about how Hillary thought she could just drop in like a celebrity and not do the retail in-person campaigning like all the other candidates did. In reality, she did a lot of local campaigning in NH. She was on the ground for a year.

But the narrative sounded right. In fit with the stereotype that they were trying to cultivate, just like the garbage we got in 2016 about how Hillary's message came down to saying "it's my turn" or that she had no new ideas.

Facts no longer matter, just sound bites. Those five days between Iowa and New Hampshire were seen as bizarre at the time, at least after HRC won the NH primary. Now that type of reasoning is the new normal.

Monmouth is Guadagno's home county (Murphy's as well) and she won't get a huge margin there. If every ancient denizen of a Leisure Village development in Ocean County voted for her (and they might) they will be offset by just half the precincts in Newark and Jersey City. The population in the state is in the urban counties. Ocean has become THE republican county in the state and they're only 580,000 out of 8.5 million people in the state.

..."FOX lite." I do skip Andrea Mitchell -- as someone else pointed out, she can't get over her hatred of Hillary. But she's still not FOX.

MSNBC has ended up with an outstanding lineup in some respects, including Rachel Maddow, Katy Tur, Nicolle Wallace, and Joy Reed.
