Great news for labor in New York State: NO to opening convention! (Won't trample pensions)

NY State was worried about opening the constitutional convention and giving hedge fund managers and other greedy monied people access to tearing up decades of solid labor-supporiting rules, such as Triborogh and collective bargaining.

This is great news: In the national fight against labor, NY remains firm.

I’m relieved to hear that. I just got home and I’m watching the mostly great results tonight. I voted today and I was in such a hurry I forgot to vote against the cc and I was so upset. I also convinced a few of my students who weren’t going to vote to vote and I let them leave early if they wanted to so they could vote.
