Gillespie projected to lose by 1% lost by 9%

Nicole Wallace had a segment today talking about Gillespie's prior races for office in VA and projected he would lose this one too by the same margins as before: 1-2%

She had another person on her panel who worked with Gillespie and both of them lamented the type of race Gillespie ran this time, how disgusting it was.

I'll watch tomorrow and see if she mentions they were only partially right. She'll be pleased.

1. I thought he would lose by 4. That was the margin of victory I was predicting for all three

4. What do you mean? Trump lost the popular vote by 2 and he lost Virginia by 5.5.

A Republican friend of 65 years told me to quit bashing trump "our president" on FB, which I have been doing. I replied he's NOT my president and mentioned the reasons why not. I think our friendship ended today.

it is all I can do to be civil. We have outlawed any political talk when they are around. That's hard because we are a very political family and politics is about all we talk about ordinarily. I'm actually taking notes of interesting things I read or hear in NPR to talk about at Thanksgiving.

Mind you, none of them have been my favorites so it's not like I lost a friend of 65 years. That would be much harder. Hope your friend comes to her senses.
