GOP strategist Steve Schmidt drops hammer on titanic fraud Mike Pence for lying about Russia

Republican strategist Steve Schmidt questioned Vice President Mike Pence’s patriotism in a stunning segment on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe.”

Co-host Mika Brzezinski pointed out that Pence had been asked repeatedly before and after the election about the Trump campaign’s contacts with Russia, and the vice president’s denials were always proven wrong.

“At what point is it un-American when you’re asked questions and questions and questions about something obviously curious that’s going on that pertains to Russian meddling, and you are willfully clueless?” Brzezinski said.

Schmidt said he doesn’t understand why Pence seems to escape scrutiny in the Trump administration.

“We don’t talk enough about the vice president’s nonstop lying,” Schmidt said.

and appear often on TV. Only a very few have actually left the entire Republican party so far. Schmidt has been vocally critical of the direction the party has been headed for a while longer. His dealings with with Sarah Palin notably turned him toward "the light." He was in the same Republican line of work as Kellyanne Conway, but was always much more reasonable and intellectual. It will be interesting in what direction he and other reasonable Repubs will go, once we're rid of Trump (and hopefully Pence).

lesser but still huge dark-money powers. The Kochtopus alone could retire both McConnell and Ryan almost at will. Look at the almost suicidal behaviors of congress right now--they're being told to produce huge flows of national wealth to people who are clearly willing to lose a fair number of them in 2018. They'll just run their replacements in the primary.

Cheeto wasn't the Koch's choice, but they've used his pathological incompetence to make some very good lemonade out of him. His appointments are almost all their agents. But, 2018 is coming up and most of the trumpsters will still vote for him and turn on his enemies. Nothing simple about the strategies they're working on.

The current plan is to continue to fight the agenda in congress by defeating Trump legislation, with the help of the few sane Republicans. The plan is to win special elections so there are more Dems in congress. The plan is for our Dems to continue to educate voters about what Dems have to offer while also sounding the warning about Trump.

At this point only Mueller has any real power to deal w Trump. Republicans have power but they want to protect Trump.

If come out and vote in 2018 and elect more democrats that will change.
