to Franken. Then that obviously staged photo.

I mean what sexual abuser is going to pose grinning into a camera as he assaults someone?

His hands aren't even touching her in the photo.

I am also capable of using my own judgment to estimate the credibility of charges. If eight other women come forward with similar allegations, backed by contemporaneous evidence and testimony, then I'll have to re-evaluate my estimation of Sen. Franken, who I currently think is a stand-up guy.

On the other hand, if this is a one-off allegation about a troupe of barnstorming entertainers on a USO tour, I can judge for myself how serious a breach of conduct this is, particularly when measured against what I know of the totality of Sen. Franken's career. I think others can do that, too.
