Roy Moore Claims Giving Blacks Voting Rights Has Created 'Problems' For America

http://leftoverrights.com/gop-senate-nominee-roy-moore-claims-giving-blacks-voting-rights-created-problem-country/

Last night, Alabama GOP Senate nominee Roy Moore spoke in Jackson, a small city in rural south Alabama, where he made one of the most racist statements in modern history by a nationally covered political actor. The entire thing was caught on camera...

Moore literally said that new rights created in 1965 have created the “problem” we have today in this country. If you happen to need a refresher, the rights he referred to were enacted by the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which remains a landmark piece of federal legislation that prohibits racial discrimination in voting.

....

Admittedly speaking off the cuff, Moore said that the United States has been in a “spiritual” decline since they [government] “started creating new rights in 1965,” and that as a result of these new rights, “today we’ve got a problem.”

It was created in 1965, over the Republican objections that it was "socialized medicine" (sound familiar?). Of course, it's also plausible to think he meant the Voting Rights Act.

Another hypothesis, less likely but not completely impossible, is that it was a slip of the tongue. Instead of "1965", what he meant to say was "1865". He's against all the new rights that "they" started creating then.

Carson: "Judge Moore is a fine man of proven character and integrity, who I have come to respect over the years," Carson said in the statement. "I was delighted to hear he is running for the US Senate. He is truly someone who reflects the Judeo-Christian values that were so important to the establishment of our country. It is these values that we must return to in order to make America great again. I wish him well and hope everyone will make sure they vote on Tuesday."

Klansmen could lynch black people (Mostly black males) which was seen as real FUN for the whole family and the community. Just look at the smiles on many of those spectators faces .... Nothing like the smell of burning human flesh to end a "great" evening out.

"Ah lynchings," Roy "pedio" Moore is thinking. "Just the thing that would bring white families like MINE and families who think like MINE thinks back together again in MY vision of "Christian AmeriKKKa."

That man standing next to the little girl wearing his best hat and clothing probably enjoyed his day of high times & lynching. And the little girl seems quite giddy attending her day at the lynching party. Hey, if that's daughter and father, I guess they spent a wonderful day. Nothing like a good old-fashioned, southern lynching to bond a daughter and father which undoubtedly gave them memories that lasted them their lifetimes.
