When, in an attempt to be "fair," they fail to call a spade a spade.

Also, during the general election, the major media gave 3 times more coverage to Hillary's emails than substantive policy issues.

The so-called liberal media failed us in the run-up to GW's 2003 invasion of Iraq, going along with all the bogus claims rather than calling bullshit on the lies.

FDR used that desk. Jackie Kennedy had it moved to the Oval Office, where it remained.

But that fat, whiney, Russian sellout actually sits there and defiles it. It turns my fucking stomach to know that bastard is the “real” president. The way he behaves...it can’t be real. I refuse to accept him and all the crap he’s dumped on good people. Shaking my goddamned head so much I’m getting motion sickness.

weak. In this case their response was appropriate and just the right amount of decorum. Trump is the one who comes off as sounding like a fool. r

I know that Trump does these things to either make himself relevant or to detract from something else going on that he doesn't want to talk about. Ideally, he should be ignored regardless of his motive. However, everyone is on to his motives, and until the Dotard starts giving respect he doesn't deserve any in return. And I won't hold it against CNN for a smackdown against the Dotard every once in a while.

11. 9 charts on how the world sees President Trump
Sat Nov 25, 2017, 08:07 PM
Nov 2017
Globally, Trump is much less popular than his predecessor. Across 37 countries we surveyed in spring 2017, a median of just 22% said they have confidence in Trump to do the right thing in world affairs. In contrast, 64% expressed confidence in President Barack Obama in these same 37 nations during the final years of his presidency.

Negative views of US influence in the world have increased in the majority of countries surveyed in the latest global country poll for the BBC World Service. Compared to 2014, when the poll was last conducted, double-digit increases in negative views of the US, rising to majorities, are now found in several of its NATO allies, including the UK (up from 42 to 64%), Spain (44 to 67%), France (41 to 56%), and Turkey (36 to 64%). Negative opinion has also sharply risen in Latin American nations Mexico (up from 41 to 59%), and Peru (29 to 49%). In Russia, negative views of the US have also increased, from 55 to 64 percent.

Officially due to low number of viewers. Even given the fact that it was a US news station with output of interest primarily to (certain) Americans, they got plenty of censures from OFCOM (UK equivalent of FCC... but with some teeth) for their output.

I can buy the low viewer argument... Comparing Fox News to BBC, Sky, ITN, etc... You know you are going to get news if you tune to these channels. You don't know if you are getting news if you tune to Fox News.

Up to his eyeballs.

I watch CNN International quite a bit and it is very good. One thing they don't do much that regular CNN does is have Trump cultists on regularly twisting themselves into knots regurgitating nonsense and idolizing their favorite baboon. That's probably what he can't stand.

The international survey by the Pew Research Center found that favorable ratings of the United States have decreased from 64 percent of people across all countries surveyed at the end of Barack Obama’s presidency to 49 percent this spring. The new figures are similar to those toward the end of the George W. Bush administration.

The president himself has fared even worse: A median 22 percent are confident that Trump will do the right thing in global affairs, down from 64 percent who had confidence in Obama.

The baby king and the Republican Clowns of the Apocalypse cavort to an ugly truth of their own collective mulling, difficult to fathom or articulate even for the very few with the courage to attempt it. KPFK radio in SoCal delivers the most honest news I've ever found in my 70 years. Like many of us, I generally rely upon what I am able to see first hand as well as images which I choose to trust. Who can really say for sure; I've been hoodwinked many times...
