Conyers flew home tonight after meeting with Congressional Black Caucus

Rep. John Conyers flew home to Detroit tonight, even though the House is in session all this week. No official word yet, but there's mounting evidence on the Hill that Conyers is preparing to resign.

Conyers meeting with Congressional Black Caucus right now to discuss whether to resign. Not clear whether there will be a decision today

No matter what has happened, no matter what happens in the future, nothing can take the contributions he has made to our country away.

We share the joy in knowing how much he has done for our country.

But, harassment or not, there is a time, an age, when even the best of us have to stop working. I don't know whether this is that time for Rep. Conyers, but I wish him well. He has been a blessing to our country. Age, however, takes its toll. And what was acceptable 50 years ago is no longer.

As a woman, as one who has been discriminated against and harassed in the workplace and my career because I am a woman, I have compassion for ALL other women who are truly harassed and discriminated against. But I also feel appreciation for one of the pioneers in racial equality in our House.

This needed to be said. Nancy Pelosi made a similar point the other day and got slammed for it, but she and you are right.

I am a huge fan of hers and a huge liberal and I thought it came of bad.

This would have been an better statement in my humble opinion.

"While we all admire Congressman Conyers for service in the military, the civl rights movement, and his work in congress this type of behavior is unacceptable and it is time for him to stand aside."

I have admired Conyers for a long time. That is why I found the allegations very disappointing.

I'm sure Cernovich saw some Republican names in those documents he got ahold of but those will never come to light.
