A lot of deplorables are complaining about Trump's tax plan on Twitter

Last edited Wed Nov 29, 2017, 02:45 AM - Edit history (1)

But my question is, how are they learning the truth about the tax bill if they only watch Fox News and think everything else is fake? Do they just pick and choose which facts to believe based on how it affects them personally?

I'm able to use the tweetcaster app to do advanced searches. For example, I can use these search terms: @realDonaldTrump tax "I voted for you" and hide retweets to get a feel for what's being said. If you have a lot of time on your hands you can remove the quotes for a lot more results.

... from the tax increases in the Trump tax plan. At least, that's what one poster here said his Trump-loving brother(?) believes.

Because many Trump-lovers are desperate to believe that the blonde buffoon is still their savior.

by time the higher taxes kick in they will already be richer than those poor smucks in the lower tax bracket that have to pay more.

Because, trickle down...

You will never see a tax plan that 50 GOP Senators in the current Senate can agree on, especially after the conference committee that works out the difference between the House and the Senate versions. It's going down in flames, mark my words.

I am marking your words with a renewed sense of hope esp. after the latest from 'big hair' and the mucksters that choose to keep him afloat.

I 've been 🆙 mostly, but then get weary and the ride goes downhill 🎢.

Thanx for lifting my spirits!

former customer service, I am now retired, and don't have to take crap from angry New Jerseyans who sometimes get irrational over their utility bills.

Big Hair and his friends talk a big game, but it's all BS. In the end, the House and Senate will make changes to the bill that might well get enough House votes, but will not get enough Senate votes. It's all about the blame game, and with 100% of the GOP'ers being up for re-election in 2018, but only a third (or less) of the GOP'ers in the Senate being on the ballot that year, it's about which part of Congress is to "blame" when it comes to rallying the base.

It's all about show, results are secondary.

Thank you for your positivity.
I think I need to cut out the late hours. Food I can do without, but plenty of shut-eye is imperative.😴 Otherwise sleep deprivation builds up and everything looks way crappier than it may be. Or not! 😏

may well withdraw support from some of the GOP Senators, but just under a third of them are running for re-election in 2018.

If the House can be seen by The Donors as having done their job, they will continue to get financial support.

It is like they only care about rich people or something! On another note, some of these people will never be satisfied. Honestly I know a disturbing number of people who would like a tax plan that reads: "I never have to pay any taxes ever but I also want excellent public services, great public schools, a well-funded, large police force, middle-class entitlements, a huge, powerful military, great roads and..."
