Lucian Wintrich, White House Correspondent For Gateway Pundit, Arrested After Altercation At UConn Talk
Lucian Wintrich, White House correspondent for the far-right website Gateway Pundit, was arrested by UConn police after an altercation at the event he was speaking at Tuesday night.
At one point, Wintrich left his place at the podium in Andre Schenker Lecture Hall, rushed up the steps of the auditorium and grabbed a woman. The crowd reacted quickly, swelling with pushes and shoves until police led Wintrich out into the hallway and then into a restroom.

He began the talk with an anecdote of who he described as a fat woman recognizing him in a bar and telling the owner she felt unsafe. From there, his topics ranged from illegal immigration to the reason his poster featured a man in Renaissance-era garb to assert that there is less acceptance of the traditional clothing of white cultures than of other races.
Liberals want black people to dress like they did in Africa 300 years ago, he said, before turning his slideshow to a photo of women in burkas. They want Muslims to dress the way theyve always dressed.
