In his last commentary for The Resistance, Mr. Olbermann announced that he was ending his political commentaries for all media platforms. He indicated that there were no scandals surrounding him and that his decision was simply because he had said all he wanted to say about our politics and society.

There was an odd undercurrent in his delivery, though. When coupled with his tweet from a few days earlier, it's clear he knew what was coming for Lauer.

In fact, the way I read the tweet, there may be a couple of other shoes to drop...
