At least Matt Lauer will have a nice place to retire to

In June 2016, Lauer purchased a property known as Strongheart Manor from Richard Gere for $36.5 million in North Haven, New York.

I think he also is being paid his $20 million/year salary through 2018. That probably helps make the separation more amicable.

I understand workplace harassment and being discounted...change needs to occur....But...

This all feels right suspicious...the long list of offenders... suffering instant character assination with Trial by Media without evidence and due process...

It smells...

Lauer's face brought in ratings for them - that's all NBC cares about. They'll hire someone else and pay that person the same salary he received.

morning shows thinking they will get "the news". This clown also sat down in that dumb ass forum to talk about emails while pretending to be some sort of reporter.

Finally my point is the ridiculous amount of dough that's wasted in paying these airheads. Instead of actually investing in running a journalistic operation. Which I understand they have no interest in doing.

obvious. It's just a shame this is what networks spend vast amounts of money in. Given that he's not a journalist. I see no reason for him to have sat down with both candidates last year and go on and on about fucking emails. Had he interviewed them about what they eat and their favorite movies. It would've been more appropriate and fitting given what his actual qualifications are.
