Can you imagine nuclear power plants throughout the Middle East?

It has been reported by Rachel Maddow and others that General Michael Flynn, along with Bud McFarland and others, including several Russians, had such a plan. It was to be a $250 billion dollar private investment.

Can we imagine the loose nuclear materials that might find its way into the hands of terrorists in that part of the world? It is beyond the plot of a Dr Strangelove movie.

Reportedly, the approval was going to find its way to the desk of the new President, Donald J Trump?

Who knows where such a story would end?

It strains the imagination.

Yeah, that old canard. I take it to mean that the Saudis and other Arab states are realizing that oil is dying as an industry, and that they need alternate power sources. Putin and Trump are trying to keep oil relative so they can cash in their Arctic reserves, but I suspect it will never be worth pulling out of the ground.
