should be at the top of the list. Apparently the republican congress thinks his behavior is just fine. If others in congress are being called out, when is it Trump's turn! He should be at the top of the list IMO!

(13,390 posts)And it was not text book work place sexual harassment. They're different stories and no new complainants. When it comes to vile policy makers, the GOP has no standards or limits. Their loyalty outweighs character and moral standing. That's their problem.
There is no enforcement mechanism in place to hold anyone accountable for sexual transgressions that do not involve behaviors that have been identified as illegal. There is a reasonable argument that Trump's conduct was illegal. But, without timely complaints I doubt the incidents he bragged about are prosecutable.
The GOP and a considerable number of voters opted not to hold him accountable. It is entirely consistent with what is being revealed. Sexual transgressions have been accepted for a very long time in many circles. There was no widespread effort to challenge it until recently, and that speaks to how Trump got elected.
