Meghan McCAIN just referred to "my people". BEHAR called her on it & asked who? Answer: "Red State"

She said "Red State Americans."

It started when (Sunny?) wanted to clarify from the day before when McCAIN misinterpreted that Sunny had said ALL Twitler supporters are racists. She said that she has friends, family and others who voted for TWITLER and knows they are not racists and that she believes a swath of TWITLER supporters are not, that her point was more "nuanced," that (here she cataloged a lot of the myriad groups, ethnicities, races, genders, individuals TWITLER had lashed out at) and said at least SOME of Twitler's voters who ARE racists could get the idea he was definitely one of them.

McCAIN sat there as she usually does with her Sara HUCKABEE stone, impervious face, rolling her eyes, and interrupted a couple of times while Sunny said she needed to finish her point because if McCAIN misinterpreted it, so then did listeners out there.

McCAIN looked bored daggers, like she couldn't stand to be lectured and like she wasn't listening anyway, was just waiting to set her own yapper loose.

And when she did she started out with, "I try to be here to speak/represent MY PEOPLE, and I've had a hard time here and am having a hard time..."

BEHAR threw out, "Who are YOUR PEOPLE?!1"

McCAIN said, "Red State Americans. People who are HURTING out there."

BEHAR almost gasped, or I gasped, somebody gasped.

She seemed like more of a "moderate", reasonable Republican at one point sort of pushing back against the Tea Party wing of the party. Unfortunately, looks like she's jumped on the far right-wing bandwagon.

Will she have the guts to go on TV and defend it when SS/Medicare are gutted and her Red State Racists are wondering where their gazillions of dollars are?
