What am I missing here? Everyone keeps saying the republicans are keeping

trump in office because of the tax cut legislation.

I call bullpucky! Pence and on down the line, depending on how deep the plot goes, would sign that legislation just as fast as trump.

I think they hare hanging on to him to keep the lid on the conspiracy because too many are directly involved and need to cover their ass.

They have to condemn Assface now.

To admit they knew of his obstruction, and did nothing, is itself a crime.

I do not see how any member of Congress can offer support to the “President” without committing a crime.

Looks kinda like a slam dunk.

and get it right......air tight! Beside that, I want him to get every crooked, Russia loving Republican on charges as well.

Trump thinks the entire investigation will wrap up by year's end and completely exonerate him.

At the very least he'll be brought up on Obstruction of Justice charges. Trump is done, over. That's why there pushing so hard on this "tax plan" - that's really a "Holiday" wish list of every GOP fantasy imaginable - because after Trump is removed from office, Republicans are going to be the minority in Congress for a L-O-N-G time.

Apparently there's a lot of procedural stuff that has to happen. Multiple legislative sessions. VP/Cabinet starts it but congress and senate have to hold hearings and votes. If they started it now, my impression is they would sidetrack everything else for a few weeks - it would probably delay the bill into January (or February w/ the holidays).

Not on their side with this tax bill. However, meantime he is appointing RW judges who will be around for decades.

Pence will be a puppet and less of a danger and embarrassment for them. However, he is still a LIAR and not the Perfect Prince that he and the Repubs pretend he is.

It is all so depressing. Most Americans have no idea. It makes me realize how many of the Germans were asleep at the wheel while Hitler was becoming a brutal dictator. In our case, I think Trump mainly wants to be a very rich dictator, on the order of Putin. If a little clandestine brutality is involved behind the scenes, WTF, Guantanamo, "worse than water boarding," and probably worse. What kind of person, besides a dictator, would say, "Fire the sons of bitches, " with regard to private teams and athletes. Fortunately, they united and told him to Fuck off the next week, by whole teams and even owners joining in some form of protest.
