He is pleading guilty to the most obvious charge. That does not portend a plea deal that involves squealing, since he was caught red handed & had to plead guilty, more or less.

Why do people think this means he's squealing up the food chain? MSNBC is talking about that, too.

I hope so, but I don't see why people think this means anything more than it is. It's Russia related, so that's one thing.

Wait...expert on tv saying that it would seem to him to be an indication of a significant level of cooperation, since this is admitting to only one count and is a fairly low level charge, compared with all he's been charged with. The perp will generally cop a plea to one of the lowest levels of charges.

...and many observers feel the single charge indicates this is part of a wider deal which would have to include some major cooperation from Flynn.

Given that the noose is around his son's neck, as well, this almost certainly portends a progression by Mueller up the food chain; presumably all the way up to the Oval Office.

Bringing out these senior level figures this early means that there are even bigger fish in Mueller's net.
