And Mueller would be charging Flynn Jr. also. There are much more serious potential charges out there against Flynn, ones that would be much more politically damaging for Trump to pardon Flynn regarding. I think this signals cooperation.

If you have a pardon in your back pocket, wouldn't it be better to kick the can down by the road by insisting on a trial and then claiming you were railroaded and saying the pardon was the morally right thing to do.

Pardoning a guy who plead guilty would be kinda weird, no?

One is that Mueller has a ton more on him and is letting him plead to just this in exchange for him rolling on everyone else.

The other is that Mueller doesn’t have anything else on him and he’s taking the plea on what he knows they have him dead to rights on and banking on a pardon later.

How the sentencing plays out will tell us more.

How many more to get their just desserts. What about Manafort he can freely fly in the US and no where else, has ankle bracelet off too and has relinquished some of his houses? wow, now that is punishment huh
