https://www.rawstory.com/2017/12/hes-not-the-same-guy-longtime-friend-lays-out-evidence-of-trumps-mental-decline/Deutsch, a former ad executive who appeared on Trumps reality show The Apprentice, joined his Morning Joe colleagues in openly questioning the presidents mental health.
Ive known him for 20 years, Deutsch said. I was one of the first people to come out and bring up the mental health issue, (and) I got a lot of flak.
Ive spent hours and hours with him everything from negotiating leases to at-school functions to hours and hours of interviewing him on my old show, Deutsch continued. Hes not the same guy, you can see it in his eyes and speech pattern, and in, most frighteningly, his behavior.
Deutsch speculated that Trumps mental health was deteriorating as a result of stress related to the ongoing Russia investigation.

(63,919 posts)have said this. We have a very sick dangerous man at the helm. Impeachment is there for a reason, also our founding fathers did not have to worry about nuclear arms (heard that mentioned on Lawrence O'Donnell last evening) .....................

(28,811 posts)he has personality disorders. he's been sick for ages, if you didn't see it before you must have been blinded by his charm and the chance to get rich and famous without working much.
deutsch one of the first? i never heard of him personally, but i brought it up to my son in 2015.

(7,286 posts)on top of his other disorders, he is developing dementia
and there may be a panic induced illness right now on top of all the other preexisting disorders. the walls are closing in on him.
he richly deserves every bad thing coming his way. most of us did not deserve him.

(6,044 posts)He is being cornered and is acting as expected.
Did someone else cleverly hold the ceremony for the Navaho war heroes under the portrait of the Andrew Jackson? Did Bannon call him and order him to do so.
I don't think so.
As we have been told, even by his spouse-when he feels attacked he hits back 10x harder. This is his lifelong evil habit, not a sudden and recent development.
Let's not help the Republicans frame the treason as the result of an unfortunate and unanticipated change in mental status-thus letting themselves off the hook.

(63,221 posts)win the presidency which has exposed him, his lies, his crimes and all his many flaws and this will be his downfall. He could have continued to go on being a blustering NYC real-estate gangster and stayed pretty much under the radar, but no, he had to be the "King".
I want to see him destroyed. I want to see his family, his name, his brand and his reputation obliterated to the point of no return.

(13,390 posts)There is no valid comparison of his behaviors in the roles he has played and how he behaves as president. He is out of his league and drowning. He has never faced consequences for being an ignorant, self absorbed, menace. He is now in a situation where he is constantly scrutinized and frequently ridiculed. He's discombobulated and his behavior and disposition are nothing like anyone (including his friends) has seen in him. For us it is unprecedented and completely out of line with what we expect from a president. That doesn't necessarily translate to a clinical D.

(16,423 posts)Trump was never Chairman of a company-board. The boards he sat on were always staffed with family-members. Trump has no experience running a business except for a family-owned business. He was always able to do what he wants without anybody calling him out.

(13,390 posts)It is completely unrealistic for friends or observers to have expected that he would adapt.
