While we're CELEBRATING, they're CELEBRATING THE DEATH OF THE AMERICAN WORKER.

They had DT as long as they needed him: to pass their evil tax bill.

https://www.nytimes.com/2017/12/01/us/politics/senate-tax-bill-debate-vote.html

Senator Mitch McConnell, the majority leader, said “we have the votes” and the Senate will begin voting later today.

• Three previous Republican holdouts — Senators Jeff Flake of Arizona, Steve Daines of Montana and Ron Johnson of Wisconsin — threw their support behind the bill.

• The bill will now include a $10,000 deduction for state and local property taxes in a bid to sway Senator Susan Collins of Maine, who remains on the fence.

house bill?

I suspect that the senate version might not be suffiicently evil and punative for the house.

Or is it a done deal if the senate passes it?

5. They still need to reconcile it, but they will be desperate to pass anything in their tiny window.

Either that or the House needs to pass the Senate version as is.

The House can pass the Senate bill as is. That was their intention with the Health Care Repeal bill as well.

because they have so many truly nasty individuals there.
