1. Its not just Millenials though...

The problem is systemic.

The lack of job fulfillment is directly proportional to the lack of compensation tracking with productivity all the way back to the 70's! For fuck's sake, this really is NOT a hard problem to solve...wages give pride to laborers and middle and upper managers...a pay increase (a MEANINGFUL one) - one that increases one's purchasing power and station in society through hard work and being good at something - has all but disappeared...pay raises and promotions these days BARELY keep one at the level of inflation and the rising costs of food, autos, cars and education mean that staying "even" is really losing ground...

Its not just the kids...they may have been coddled a bit and have too much expectation for their own good, but that is just making them feel what we ALL are and have been feeling for DECADES!!!

America the country is a shit hole that I care NOTHING about...America the IDEA - that self rule is of, for and by the people is the thing I cherish and it has been killed off.

We have government of the rich, by the rich and for the rich and that is tragic. America the IDEA is on life support and desperately needs to be revived...

2. I know, it's really, really getting to me

This tax scam has me down. I don't know how we'll recover when the uber rich now know they can fund campaigns and get their dough back in spades.
