Billy Bush says there were 8 witnesses to Trumps Access Hollywood comments

Billy Bush, the former “Access Hollywood” host, has responded to recent reports that President Trump has questioned the authenticity of video in which he can be heard bragging about grabbing women by their genitalia, saying the president was “indulging in some revisionist history.” Bush said that seven people, in addition to him, heard Trump.

In a commentary Sunday for the New York Times, Bush said he was disturbed by reports from the past week that Trump has told allies and at least one senator that he may not be the voice on the 2005 “Access Hollywood” tape.

“He said it,” Bush wrote, referring to Trump’s now infamous “grab them by the p—-” remark made on an “Access Hollywood” bus.

“Of course he said it,” Bush added. “And we laughed along, without a single doubt that this was hypothetical hot air from America’s highest-rated bloviator. Along with Donald Trump and me, there were seven other guys present on the bus at the time, and every single one of us assumed we were listening to a crass standup act. He was performing. Surely we thought, none of this was real.”

Trump's supporters don't care and they never will. He could have been talking about their mothers or sisters and it wouldn't matter.

Is he saying they thought Trump was kidding about this? and did't really mean this? Or is he confirming that Trump really said this and really meant this?

“We now know better,” he added, referring to the women who came forward to accuse Trump of improper sexual advances."

Bush said in an interview in May of this year that he thought at the time that Trump was just bloviating. He said that if he thought for a moment that Trump was describing his actual, real life sexual assault M.O., he would have called the FBI.

Now... take that for what it's worth in light of the fact that Billy Bush is trying to make a career comeback.

He didn't do anything wrong. He didn't say or do anything to hurt anyone. Trump was putting on his schtick and Bush's job was to make Trump comfortable and relaxed for the event they were going to. But Bush got fired and Trump got elected. We're in Wonderland.

He didn't say those disgusting words; he just laughed at them, inappropriately, the way Howard Stern would laugh. It would take a man with a spine to immediately slap down Donald Trump, the star of the show, and not everyone has that backbone.

Yes, it's ironic that Billy Bush got fired and Trump became President.

He lost his job for playing along while the actual perpetrator got promoted

I think he has a legit beef. Don't get me wrong, Bush was wrong for playing along and should have said something. But he certainly took the brunt of the punishment.
