To convict in the Senate on impeachment you need 67 votes.( 2/3 of the Senate).
There are 48 Democratic Senators, and 2 Independent Senators. That means 17 Republicans must also vote to convict. That is 35 % of the Republican Senators (17/50) deciding to vote against their party.That is not going to happen whether Moore wins or not.
Moore if he wins is the replacement for Jeff Sessions a reliable R vote.
If Jones wins you are still 16 votes short.
The current numbers are very against.
